proformapad is a free, client-side proforma invoice builder. This policy explains what data is and isn’t processed when you use it.

Your invoice data stays on your device

proformapad has no backend for your invoice content. Everything you type — business and client details, line items, logo, notes — is processed entirely in your browser and saved locally using your browser’s localStorage. It is never uploadedto us or anyone else, and there is no account or login. To remove it, use “Reset to sample data” in the app or clear your browser storage for this site.

Files you download

PDF, Word, Excel and JSON files are generated on your device and downloaded directly by your browser. We do not receive or store copies of them.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand aggregate, anonymised usage (for example, how many people used a feature) so we can improve the tool. This does not include the contents of your invoices. Where analytics uses cookies or similar technologies, they are used only for these measurement purposes.

Advertising & cookies

This site may display ads served by third-party vendors, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites.

Data we do not collect or sell

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect your invoice data. Any analytics or advertising data is handled by the respective providers under their own privacy policies.

Children

proformapad is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves (for example, when analytics or ads are enabled). Material changes will be reflected on this page.
